Fun Stuff
While traveling we like to explore and experience new places but while doing so we like to have some fun. That’s why we travel with a kangaroo, have a koala suit, took lego minifigs on our trip to Morocco and take some photos of unusual things. We have met some fun people as we travel who share our sense of adventure as well as our sense of humor. Below we have some photos and links to pages that are just simply a bit of fun and not to be taken seriously.
The Polish Gnomes
While stuck in a traffic jam in Poland Jenny took a photo of these gnomes out of the window. It wasnt until later that we discovered one gnome was flashing us. Click on the photo to enlarge it and see if you can see the rude Polish gnome.
During our trip to Europe and Morocco in 2017 we were given some Minifigs [small lego figurines] by our daughter Jade. Along with a few props we had some fun taking photos of them in various situations. Click on the button to see what they got up to.
Jenny's Artwork
In 2015 at a restaurant in Romania I saw Jenny take a photo of me. While we were eating she did a bit of artwork on the photo. Here is the result. She then put the photo on Facebook for all to see. What do you think, should this be my new look !!!
Skip our Kangaroo
Skip our kangaroo has traveled with us on our adventures through Europe. He was purchased at a second hand market in the Netherlands for a couple of euros. He loves to dress up in the countries that he visits. He has developed a drinking problem and is often seen with a bottle of beer in his pouch.
The Koala
Before we left for Europe Jenny made me a Koala suit to wear at the Tour De France. He was a great hit even appearing in a french newspaper. Apart from going to the Tour De France in 2009, 2011 and 2012 he appeared in many other locations. He is a great hit with the kids as he gives out small clip on koalas where ever he goes.
