We all decided to go to Paris for the day, leaving early by train so that we did not have to find a parking place in Paris which can be a problem. At the end our the train trip Willy and Dean went with the Paris metro to the Louvre and the rest of our group took the metro to the Famous Eifel tower.

Getting there we saw it was pretty busy to go up the tower so we decided to take a hop on hop of boat trip on the Seine. We leisurely sailed on the Seine looking to all the great buildings and soaking up the Paris sounds and smells. Hopping of at the Notre Dame cathedral we found it was also very busy there so the only option was to  get in line to go inside. Interesting but crowded we went quickly trough the church and sat outside for a while to look at the grandeur of the building. After everyone came  together again. We looked at going up of one of the church towers but it would take too long to get in ,so we went in town away from the busyness to find a place for lunch. We found a Mexican snack bar which was run by only one person(woman), she served us surprisingly rather quickly. After a tasty lunch we went back to the boat to go to the next location, being the Tuileries Garden  next to the Louvre. We wandered through these large garden ending at  the Place the Concorde with the Obelisk  called The Needle of Cleopatra.  After a cool ice-cream we walked to the next boat stop. Being pretty warm and tired we decided then it was  better to go home. We sat at  Starbucks coffee shop at the train station and ordered a nice cold coffee while we waited for Willy and Dean. After getting back in Orgerus we were very happy to dive in the swimming pool and cool off. A good end of a nice day.
