I said I would stop using songs for the titles of my blogs but this time I couldn’t help it. Even though the  Beach Boys song does spell  Ronda differently. 

We had a quiet night in the carpark even though it was in a residential part of town. 6 other motorhomes also used the site, French, Germans and some Spanish. It was an easy walk into town and the first land mark we visited was the bull ring. After paying the entrance fee we first went through the 2 museums that were located in the bottom section of the complex. The first had an equestrian display along with firearms. The second had a history of bull fighting. Both well done and interesting. 

The place is very popular with tourists and it was busy with many tour groups. The old town is built on the top of the hill, and joined by a viaduct to the new one, and has many places to view the surrounding countryside. It is a pleasant town to walk through and after wandering the streets we headed back to the motorhome for some lunch. 

Our overnight spot in Ronda

The weather was still quite warm, and during the day the temperature was in the mid thirties. Our destination that afternoon was Seville, a place we have driven past many years ago but had not ventured into. A carpark alongside the river charges 10 euros for 24 hours. We arrived at 5.30 and relaxed for the rest of the day, deciding to check out the sights of Seville the next day.
